Prospective Jadu Beta Guardian.
'Jadu Beta' is 400 foot long organism comprised of 500 intricately interconnected "pods" made from plastic sheeting and inflated with life giving air. It is one of the largest inflated sculptures ever made.
During its 10 month Brooklyn evolution, the form has mutated in order to whether the playa's
tempestuous conditions and to endure a respectful degree
of physical interaction with human beings.
A crew of 15 dedicated volunteer artists have been working steadily on the fabrication and they are excited to offer their progeny to the Burning Man community for all to enjoy.
We warmly welcome your collaboration in helping the artists to bring their installation to its maximum potential.
Your critical task is the diplomatic protection of this fragile extraterrestrial ecosystem. As a guardian of this massive entity born of the cosmos, you will mediate between participants and the delicate inflated environment during a three hour tour of duty.
Compassionate guidance and informative interactions with strangers will help to ensure the sculpture's survival for the enjoyment of all future space travelers and perhaps even help to ensure that Jadu Beta may be able to return home safely.
